Challenge:

An athletic tournament programs company has the responsibility for creating materials for various high school sports tournaments. The major challenge was that the time-frame between the semi-finals and finals was very tight and the goal was to create a complete program that had up-to-date information on the entire tournament. This requires the design, layout and print of the programs to be completed in a very tight schedule, as well as, delivery of the programs to the appropriate venue.

Solution:

We offer design, print, and distribution all under one roof. This allows us to control the entire process without relying on any outside subcontractors. We instituted a plan that included a 24-hour web proofing solution to allow for quick program approval so the programs could be designed and printed at our around the clock facility. Since there are many different sport programs for each season and the finals all take place at different venues we take advantage of our redundant equipment and full-bindery service to ensure all timelines are met. Velocity has been handling this project for many years and there has never been an event that needed to begin without a program.
